Today we celebrate Luis and thank him for his dedication and commitment to serving our department and the Watkins community. His willingness to answer the call and support our mission is greatly appreciated.

🇺🇸 America 250 Raffle Winners 🇺🇸

Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets and supported Watkins Fire Department. Your support allows us to continue serving our community.

To ensure the drawing was fair and transparent, the raffle was conducted with three impartial individuals present to witness the drawing. We had planned to livestream the drawing, but unfortunately we did not have a reliable internet connection at the location.

Rather than drawing prizes in a predetermined order, the list of prizes was entered into a randomizer and shuffled seven (7) times before the drawing began. The prizes were then awarded in that randomized order as each winning ticket was drawn.

Congratulations to all of our winners, and thank you again to everyone who participated and supported Watkins Fire Department.

As we celebrate the Fourth of July, let’s take a moment to remember what this day is all about—the birth of our nation and the freedoms we enjoy because of those who came before us.

This year also begins the celebration leading up to America’s 250th Birthday. It’s a chance to reflect on our history, honor those who have served, and look ahead to the future of our communities and our country.

From everyone at Watkins Fire, we wish you and your family a safe and happy Independence Day. If you’re using fireworks, please do so responsibly, keep water close by, and never leave children unattended around them.
