Nancy was born on June 16, 1946, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, where she spent most of her life raising her family. In 1994, she made her longtime dream come true and moved to Las Vegas—a place that fit her love of sparkle, color, and a little bit of luck.

She was married to Dwight Machael, whom she met while selling consignment furniture—the job where her natural talent for design truly came alive. Together they built a blended family full of stories, personalities, and love.

Nancy is survived by her daughter Lisa (William) Koenes and their children Ryan, Matt, and Zach, along with six great-grandchildren; her daughter Jennifer (Steve) Meier and daughter Olivia; Scott Machael and daughters Stephanie and Sarah; Amy (Tim) Healy and sons Seamus and Ronan; and Dwight (Shari) Machael and daughter Kyla and one great-grandchild.

Nancy had a creative soul. She loved knitting, diamond dot art, painting, decorating, and especially transforming spaces. She had an eye for beauty and the confidence to use it.

She loved the casino, a good gamble, and the thrill of a win—and in true Nancy fashion, she went out on top.

In her final days, Nancy said simply that she had “a wonderful life.” And she truly did—full of color, creativity, resilience, family, and moments worth celebrating.

Services will be held on February 11, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Palm Mortuary, Cheyenne.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
