Well done to this group who completed the Digital Literacy class!! This wouldn’t happen without the partnership with Southwest Human Resource Agency.

Chester County 4-H Ag Day🍀🚜🐄

We had a wonderful two days at Ag Day this year as we hosted local 4th–8th grade students from Chester County Schools! Students had the opportunity to see different animals and farm equipment, learn about drones, explore row crops through the Ag in the Classroom simulator, discover big truck safety, and learn basic skills and information about linework and what linemen do on the job.

Thank you so much to our local school system for allowing us to host students and teach them more about agriculture. We are also incredibly thankful for all of our 4-H’ers and parents who volunteered their time to help make this event possible. We could not have done it without your support!

A special thank you to Southwest Tennessee Electric and the Tennessee Trucking Foundation for coming and setting up stations for our students. Thank you to Farm Bureau for allowing us to borrow the Ag in the Classroom simulator — the students absolutely loved it and enjoyed learning so many new things!

Thank you to First Farmers Co-op in Henderson for allowing us to borrow panels to hold our animals during the event.
