Desert Sights And Sounds Mikayla Whitmore is a photojournalist by trade – she works for Greenspun Media, publishers of Las Vegas Weekly and The Las Vegas Sun. Fred Bell is on the technical crew of the Blue Man Group.

It's been a minute since a posting....If you are in LA, check out Erica Ryan Stallon's "STAR DECK Academy" at the contemporary artist-run space, Elephant, in Glassell Park. "The Box Set" includes a series of 4 performance-based installations about the quality of quantity. There is some pull of the moon stuff, and a great video, "Bedroom Scene". I'm some how lucky enough to be storing/hanging one of Erica's paintings in my bedroom. She, and her work, are terrific...Go See!

Great things happening at The UNLV Marjorie Barrick Museum. Fantastic review by Dawn-Michelle Baude of the current, recent acquisitions exhibit. Congratulations and thanks to the Museum staff and the artists. There is a glass exhibit opening this eve, 6-8. come view both shows and take in the beauty.
