Just finished up this cross this morning! I wanted to darken up the live edge Walnut base a little so I added some stain to it. The stain slightly darkened the heartwood, but almost turned the sapwood black! The arch is made out of some Ebony and the cross is Maple. I really love how the lighter cross stands out against the dark base and arch. This build is a little bigger than the rest, so I used a larger magnet. It also allowed me to suspend the cross a little further away from the top. I think this one is my favorite so far!

These past few days have been very rainy and wet! Perfect days for staying inside and playing Aggravation! This board has a little different variation... pegs instead of marbles! 🤯 No idea who originally thought of it, but a HUGE thanks to my customer who asked for it! No more marbles rolling away! No more die knocking the marble out and then trying to remember where it went! Ingenious! Wrapped this board with ipe and cherry and love the way it turned out! Let me know what y'all think!

I absolutely LOVE getting pictures of what I build from my customers! I can't believe how good this looks! It was sold as a planter, but turned out to be a part of a piece of art! LOVE IT!!!!
