Our Government is in debt over 18 Trillion Dollars and growing. In 1994 the Government was paying annual over 72 Trillion in Benefits for Programs and Pensions. Medicare has been in the red since 1992. Social Security question is can it afford the 75 million Baby Boomers that are getting ready to hit retirement!
The big question is not if the government can afford to continue giving entitlements- but as a nation our we taking care of yourself by creating a residual income!
