The judgment of the dead began in 1844, but the judgment of the living has not yet begun. We need to be able to see evidence of the judgment of the living in Scripture so that we can prepare. Exploring the Seventh-day Adventist Doctrine of the Investigative Judgment, Happy Sabbath & Renew the Marriage Vows In this video, we discuss the Seventh-day Adventist teaching of the investigative judgment. We explain that Christ occupies the successive roles of prophet, priest, and king, and that as our high priest, he is currently officiating in the heavenly sanctuary, where there are books containing the records of all who have professed belief in Christ. We argue that an investigative judgment is necessary to determine who will be resurrected, translated, or lost, and that this process involves a judge, an advocate (Christ), a jury (the 24 elders), and defendants (represented by the four beasts).
