The Truck Driver Sales Merchandiser primarily provides sales merchandising coverage to our retail grocery customers. They are responsible for representing Yummmy through store coverage, maintaining a strong presence of Yummmy products in store shelves, and meeting sales objectives by cultivating relationships with customers. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that enables you to work independently and have strong work ethic and excellent customer service, we want you!

Achieve sales goals for Yummmy's food portfolio through effective account management
Build relationships with store managers and key decision makers
Execute merchandising fundamentals (rotate items, organize products in shelves, hang price tags, place promotional materials)
Introduce new products and promotions
Deliver sales order to grocery stores in Yummmy truck
Recognize new business opportunities
Unpacks delivered goods, arranges, organizes, and displays merchandise
Support in building in-store displays
Process merchandise returns and issue credits according to company policy.
Check accuracy and stability of the load.
Invoice and collect monies due.
Pick up company property.
Secure company assets.
Keep management informed of area activities, stock-outs and of any significant concerns
Drive, operate and maintain proper functioning of property vehicles such as delivery truck, fork lifts and pallet jacks
Adhoc activities as defined by management

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years experience in commercial driving
Must know Spanish
Must have the ability to repetitively lift, pull and push 50+ pounds, reach above head height, stand, walk, kneel, bend and reach.
Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
Prior grocery store and/or consumer products experience a plus.
Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with individuals at all levels within the company and assigned accounts
Ability to rapidly adapt to changing business needs and priorities
Willingness to learn and work in all areas of the business as needs dictate
Experience in food industry preferred
Experience in fork lift driving preferred
CDL license preferred

Hours:

7 a.m. - 3 p.m. Monday - Friday
Must be willing to work during holidays except Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year, Fourth of July and Memorial Day
