August 4th, 2025: Sneak Peek 🫣

Preparations for Phase II are well underway. Big changes are coming to WavyGlass1906!

Phase I included restoration, renovation, and finishing work from the foundation to the floor joists in the attic. Hard to believe this Christmas will mark 3 years since we completed Phase I and moved in just a few days before Christmas of 2022.

Since then, we’ve been busy with many other projects and saw the completion of our kitchen (tile & updated paint), all new decking, (and staining) and some other necessary maintenance in our finished basement including a massive exterior waterproofing project.

We now turn our attention on converting our attic into finished living space. This project will not be taken lightly. The plan to is add two bedrooms and a centralized bath with a grand hallway. Perhaps the most challenging of this next phase will be living underneath it with young kids and busy parents with a never ending workload!

Spring is booming
Flowers are blooming
Birds are chirping
Dogs are derping

It’s that time of year again,
You know…
Do I wear flip flops,
Or bring a parka in case it snows?

Ok ok, snow in May is quite the stretch,
But you can all agree,
the weather is never etched.

One thing is for certain,
No matter the day,
This time of year is hardly a burden.

Cheers to cool mornings
And warm afternoons.
Catch us outside,
Filling our tanks with
Natural dose of vitamin D.

April 28th, 2024: Is it the tile?

What makes a bathroom standout? Is it the tile? Is it the countertops? Maybe the paint color on the wall? Could it be the fixtures or hardware?

Maybe it depends on the space?

One thing is for certain, we love mosaic tile and it’s our statement piece in our main level guest bath. It’s the first thing our eyes are drawn to!

April 6th, 2024: Picked up a new addition.

No historic home is complete without stained or leaded glass windows. This is the first of many we plan to add.

But baby steps…because they can break the existing bend in the old wallet.

The place that has my heart, the place that has our peace, the place that provides us shelter, the place where memories are made, but nothing compares to this place…

We call HOME.

Home can mean so many things. Somewhere you’re from, someplace you’d rather be, or someplace in between.
