Two weeks away from home, came back and everyone trying to be Alpha.. 🤯 time to restore order.

Neutering "One"
Spaying "Den"

Both will be up to good homes after they are fixed.

will reply back as soon as I can, will be out of country for a few weeks.

Last year litter, the puppies were very skittish. Reminding me of wolves pup, hearing seeing stranger theyll run and hide. It wasn't until 2ish month old that they were comfortable with me. But very independent, when I let them out they just wonder off on their own. Never cared for human or toys.

This year litter is a repeat. My keeper female still afraid to leave the welping box. She'll stay near it only, also will run off if i try to touch or pet her.. While the other puppies will follow me around inside the pen. But when outside the puppies will wonder off as well. Still dont care for toys/ropes etc...

The mom is super protective of the pups. My pyrenees and parents isnt allow near the pup. But my other hmong bobtail she lets them.

Simba is now finally starting to socialize more with dogs.. more playful versus ignoring everything around him.

Overall, Hmong bobtail dog is more of a farm dog or best suited for rural areas as watch dog. Alerting of strangers. Very calm breed compared to modern well known breed.

I personally think that Hmong bobtail dog is a versatile breed but will not stand out above modern breeds that is established and bred specifically for specialized traits such as bloodhound, german Shepard or pyrenees.

I hope Hmong bobtail dog breed will retain their natural instinct, naturally tracks and their personality. But like everything with human intervening, itll change over time as breeders/organizations will breed for show/physical appearance mostly.
