There’s no easy way to say this, the hardest moment is approaching.This feels impossible. It’s hard to even process, let alone find the right words for how much it hurts to watch a family we care about walk through this.

Jodi has impacted so many lives, including ours, in ways that are hard to fully put into words. She showed up for people, created space for them, and made them feel seen and valued. That kind of person leaves a mark, and you can feel just how far that reaches right now.

I promise we'll do everything that we can to be there for the Black family. To meet you all at conventions and hear all the stories about Jodi and continue building something with the absolute blessing that she and Clint have created in our lives.

Right now, the most important thing we can do is continue to show up, for Clint, for Bethany and Trinity. Through support, through presence, through reminding them they are not alone in this.

Big things are happening in our local gaming community!

Huge congratulations to Cardboard Quest on their Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting on April 23rd in downtown Hickory. Spaces like this don’t just open, they’re built with passion, community, and a real love for bringing people together.

If you haven’t seen it yet, they’ve created an incredible board game café experience, and we were genuinely excited to spot one of our Legacy Game Tables as part of their setup. There’s something special about seeing our tables become part of their space.

$8 for all-day play, a welcoming atmosphere, and a fresh new place to gather, it’s the kind of spot this community needs more of.
