Stitching Stories: A Public Art Installation in High Point - High Point Discovered Discover public art in High Point, NC with Stitching Stories: Reimagined, a 30-foot mosaic quilt on display at the High Point Public Library.

It's here! The Stitching Stories installation is underway at the 🧶 Join us on Monday at 3pm in the Morgan Room for the grand opening of the temporary art exhibit. Afterwards, we hope you take time to appreciate, reflect on, and enjoy the art.

About Stitching Stories: During the COVID pandemic, incarcerated women’s connections with community and family were severely curtailed. Work permits and visitations were terminated indefinitely. In response, a few women banded together and began crocheting a special quilt to represent their loss. This quilt has been reimagined into an artistic representation that will travel the state before being permanently installed in Raleigh.
