We recently restored these 1980s Cerwin Vega T36 trapezoidal scoop (front loaded horn) cabinets for a client! They came out in new tuxedos for the reveal 😍

These guys were in ROUGH shape when they came in. They were covered in the original carpet and had gotten wet many times 😔 After removing the carpet, and many hours of scraping off the old contact cement with Xylene we got down to the bare wood. Then we repaired and filled all the holes and cracks and spots before sending them off to LINE-X of Winston Salem to be coated. The front panels were painted a fresh white enamel, all corner protection and screws were replaced, new wheels, handles cleaned up, and loaded with fresh 18 Sound 18LW2420 18" woofers. Now they are just like NEW and ready to serve another 30 years at war volumes 💪
