On Sunday, our community gathered once again for The Longest Table, and the day was nothing short of remarkable. Neighbors, families, friends, and even strangers sat shoulder to shoulder, sharing a meal and conversations that reminded us how powerful it is to slow down and truly connect.
This event is more than a shared meal, it’s a space for honesty, reflection, and the kind of listening that strengthens a community from the inside out. Every laugh, every story, every moment of understanding showed just how much High Point grows when we come together.
We’re deeply grateful to our partners whose support made this year’s Longest Table possible — Growing High Point, The Bridge, Resilience High Point, the City of High Point, Atrium Health, Stock + Grain, High Point Discovered, and all who helped bring this vision to life.
A heartfelt thank‑you to Basil Café & Catering, who prepared the beautiful meal that nourished everyone at the table. And a special shoutout to Craig Vaughn, whose live guitar performance added warmth, joy, and energy to the entire experience. His music helped set the tone for a day rooted in togetherness.
To everyone who joined us: thank you. Your presence transformed a simple meal into a living symbol of unity, hope, and shared purpose. Together, we’re building a more connected High Point — one conversation at a time!
