One puppy buyer from our A-litter (John Thornburg) took his dog through VJP, HZP, and VGP. Even as a first-time handler, he tied for high score at the VJP and got the highest score at HZP and VGP. Congrats.

As of today, these two are still looking for homes.

Augustus (left) was my daughter's favorite because he likes to be held. He has a beautiful coat and head. My anecdotal tests show a strong nose and the earliest demonstrated pointing at 3.5 weeks. His temperament is in the middle of the litter. He has a big square head, probably the most handsome head.

Anakin (right) is my favorite in the litter to keep for myself except I "can't" keep a male. Anakin is marked like his daddy, Oliver. Anakin won my heart early because he is most friendly. As the litter plays, he regularly breaks away to check in with me. I expect him to be the easiest to train. Anakin's nose and point were at or near the top for the litter. Temperament is on the gentle side of middle. I thought he would go to PA but was passed up because their other favorite (Alivero) mostly ignored their older dog.

Axel is headed to his new home in NC. He was the litter boss and went to a hunting family with teenaged kids and experienced versatile dog owners. Apparently Axel's first job is to hang out on the family's new fishing boat. I heard something like "Man he's gonna look cool in the bow of that boat."

It was tough to watch him leave because his personality is most like the sire, my dog Oliver. Axel is gonna be alotta dog.

Axel, the litter-boss, is headed to his new home with teenage hunters and experienced versatile dog owners. Apparently he will be hunting everything after hanging out this summer on the bow of a fishing boat.

This is almost too much fun!
