The "Lacey Act' is threatening the woodworking industry; originally intended to protect birds and wild-life, it was expanded to include species of wood, thus threatening the guitar industry as well as other wood processing industries including the furniture market. These are the unintended consequences of a poorly written law, the law needs to be restored to it's original intent of protecting birds and leave the wood working industry alone. Call your congressman/woman, Senator/s and tell them to correct their misdeed.
