Because I have had several emails and phone calls in the last week about this question. I don't know where this misinformation is being circulated, however you cannot claim a child on your taxes just because you pay child support. Here is the IRS's answer to that question as of today.

I opened my office in 2004 so I had really big plans for 2024 to celebrate 20 years. I joked with several clients and friends that this was the year I would "turn 20 and grow up".
