Dogs grieve….they love, feel, care, are happy, and sad. There are people in this world who dont understand this; the ones who surrender their 17 year old dog because he sleeps too much, or the family who wants to make room for the Christmas puppy, so they surrender their senior dog. Dogs were not given a voice so we need to be their voice…..what we do at the Ranch is validate their feelings, and value them as a living being with feelings. Every one of our dogs deserve to know they are worthy.

Here I go again! Apparently Tank and Gracie are King and Queen of the Porch; Gracie has taken up yoga; Tank is still as handsome as ever, and they love chasing after toys in the afternoons! Can you imagine what their lives would be like right now without the Ranch? A huge thank you to our Second Chance Ranch STL Volunteers and donors who made this happen! ❤️

We are trying to help a family deal with a tragedy and we need to find a foster for Ace and Sophia. Ace and Sophia’s owner was in a horrible accident and is working to regain her life with a traumatic brain injury. Her dogs are her life, but she still has about 6 months of rehab. Her parents live out of state and have asked if we can find a foster to care for them until their daughter regains her strength. The dogs are both seniors, but healthy, and very sweet. Right now they are in kennels most of the day, and they are very depressed. Can you open your home to these sweet dogs in order to help their owner?
