Ohio Supreme Court issues another major decision for surface and mineral owners in Ohio On December 17, 2020, just days after its decision in West v. Bode, the Ohio Supreme Court issued another major decision for surface and mineral owners in Ohio.

The 2020 DAPL Landman of the Year is Matt Smith!! Matt has been active in the AAPL since 1998 and has held numerous roles within the organization. Currently, Matt serves as a Director for the DAPL and is a Trustee for the AAPL Landman Scholarship Trust. Matt has displayed his commitment to the industry, education, his collogues, and our organization through the many events he has hosted and planned, the committees he has contributed to, and the teams he has lead. He is known by his colleagues as a talented leader and we feel beyond lucky to have him in our circle. Congratulations, Matt!!
