Thomas was in the house when the fire began. He quickly grabbed his dog, unable to locate the two cats and made it out of the house before being trapped by the smoke and flames.

This is Thomas, he has lived in this neighborhood for over 20 years. A Veteran, a homeless advocate, a retired engineer and his biggest accomplishment, a father to 6 children. Thomas bought this home all by himself, working countless hours commuting from San Bernardino to Long Beach. He wanted a forever home for his children and he accomplished that. The family could have taken the insurance money and started over somewhere else, but this home, this land meant the world to Thomas and he is willing to fight for it and do whatever it takes to keep it. Please help save Thomas and his forever home.
