Happy Father’s Day to all of the incredible dads out there, and especially to the dads who have stepped in front of my camera over the years. 🤍

One of my favorite things about family sessions is getting to witness the special bond dads share with their children. You always bring so much fun, silliness, laughter, and energy to every shoot. You're the piggyback-givers, joke tellers, snack carriers, fixers, protectors, and memory-makers.

And let's be honest… a special shoutout to the dads who showed up for photo day even though they'd probably rather be anywhere else. 😂 The dads who carried all the bags, survived multiple outfit changes, chased toddlers around, bribed kids with snacks, smiled on command, and somehow managed to act natural after hearing “just one more photo!” about 47 times.

Some of my favorite images are the unplanned moments—the way your children look up at you, the way you make them laugh, and the quiet interactions in between that remind everyone just how loved they are.

Thank you for showing up, even when it wasn't necessarily at the top of your weekend wish list. Thank you for being playful, patient, and fully present for your families. Years from now, these photos will become some of your children's most treasured possessions, and they'll be so grateful that you were in them.

It is always such an honor to document these moments and preserve these memories for your families.

Red Rocks never disappoints. It was so good to be back at this location with this sweet family!

The weather has been beautiful lately, which means outdoor session season is officially here. I can't wait to photograph more families at one of Colorado's most stunning locations. Between the incredible red rock formations, mountain views, and gorgeous golden light, it's easy to see why this is one of my favorite places for family photos.

Nothing beats when the local wildlife (🦌) decides to join your session!

Seeing these deer wander through the background was such a fun surprise, and I’m so glad we were able to capture them in a few photos! Moments like this are one of the reasons I love shooting outdoors. You can plan for beautiful light and gorgeous scenery, but sometimes nature gives you a little extra magic you could never have expected.

Definitely one of the perks of outdoor sessions over the studio if you ask me 😉

If you'd rather stay in the comfort of your own home, I'm more than happy to come to you. There is something so special about documenting this season in the place where it is actually happening. Not only do we get to capture your family as you are right now, but we also get to preserve all of those little details that make this chapter unique—your baby's nursery, the rocking chair where countless snuggles happen, tiny details you've spent months preparing, and the home where your newest memories are being made.

In-home newborn sessions have such a personal, storytelling feel to them, and they often become some of the most meaningful images to look back on years later.

If you're expecting, be sure to reach out sooner rather than later! I only take on 4 newborn sessions each month to ensure every family receives the best possible experience.

One thing I hear all the time is, "I don't know how you'll manage all of us!" 😂

But honestly, I love big families. The energy, the personalities, the chaos, the laughter—it all makes for such fun and meaningful photos. Whether you're a family of three or a family of ten, my goal is always the same: create beautiful images while making the experience feel easy and enjoyable for everyone.

I also love being able to capture so many different combinations during a session—siblings together, individual photos of the kids, mom and dad together, and of course plenty of images of the whole family. The more people, the more memories we get to preserve.

My garden mini sessions are the perfect opportunity for families this summer! They're held in an easy-to-get-to location with plenty of room for little ones to run, explore, and be themselves, while still providing a gorgeous backdrop filled with beautiful blooms for timeless family photos.
