EAA105 Evening Gathering – Flying the Lockwood AirCam

This Gathering is our first Gathering on a new schedule of Gathering on the evening of the third Tuesday of the month. We are changing to this new regularly scheduled third Tuesday because we wanted to make our Gatherings not conflict with other aviation organizations that meet on Thursday evenings.

Tonight’s presentation is by Jeff Axel speaking about flying the Lockwood AirCam.

As usual, food fest at 6:30pm and presentation at 7pm.

EAA Chapter 105 Monthly Breakfast – TOMORROW!

The next EAA Chapter 105 Monthly Breakfast is tomorrow, Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Twin Oaks Airpark.

Open to the public! Breakfast will be served from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

Adults: $10
Couples: $18
Children: $5

This is also our first Young Eagles event of the season. Please watch for increased aircraft traffic in the pattern and additional people and families on the airport grounds throughout the morning.

We have plenty of parking available for everyone!

Come enjoy a great breakfast, see some airplanes, and help us introduce the next generation to aviation. We look forward to seeing you there!

EAA Chapter 105 Visits Van’s Aircraft

EAA105 would like to extend a huge thank you to Van’s Aircraft for hosting our chapter gathering and factory tour last Thursday evening. We had an incredible time exploring the updated factory layout, seeing the new build areas, and getting an up-close look at the exciting RV-15!

It was great to spend the evening surrounded by fellow aviation enthusiasts, and we even had a couple pilots fly in for the event. A great time was had by all!

Thank you again to the team at Van’s for their hospitality and for taking the time to talk with our members about all things RV.

If you’d like the opportunity to visit amazing aviation facilities, meet great people, and be part of our aviation community, we’d love to see you at our next Chapter Gathering!

Chapter Gathering at Vans Aircraft

This month’s Gathering will be at Vans Aircraft, at the south end of Aurora State Airport.

Pizza will be served at 6:30 pm and a factory tour at 7 pm.

People who drive are encouraged to carpool and can park in the Van’s Aircraft front parking lot.

Primary aircraft parking is in front of the India Hangar (AIRCRAFT PARKING on the overhead image).

Overflow parking only if primary parking is full, in the areas labelled as such.
