Having the AOA National Show in March greatly limits opportunities for many alpaca breeders to attend. Winter travel conditions should not be a limiting factor in attendance for Nationals. Let’s keep everyone safe!
Do you want to support Cindy Harris? The AOA National Show needs to be the climax of show season in May each year. Further, asking alpaca owners to travel across the country with alpacas in trailers in unpredictable and sometimes dangerous weather conditions is unreasonable, as demonstrated by the Colorado storm in 2019.

Our Story
Cielito Lindo Ranch is an avocado and alpaca farm in the hills of Temecula, California. We offer animals for sale and herdsire services, as well as raw fleece, soft roving, and finely spun yarn from the fiber of our own animals raised with love.
At the age of 11, Xochitl Berns fell in love with alpacas and began her journey of education into the camelid world. She began her own breeding program focusing on dark colored suris at the age of 13. Today, she maintains her small and very selective herd of alpacas in a range of colors and enjoys working with fiber. Xochitl has a focus on sustainability, and encourages those making intelligent endeavors into permaculture to explore the wonderful world of alpacas.
