This year’s theme is National Park Playlist — and parks across the country are turning up the volume with music-inspired programs all week long!

Here at San Antonio Missions National Historical Park, we’re hosting daily events that hit all the right notes:

🎧 Saturday, April 19 – Junior Ranger Day
9:00 AM–5:00 PM at Mission San José
Kick things off with a Find Your Ranger scavenger hunt! Pick up your booklet at the Visitor Center and become an official Junior Ranger and explore what is means to protect and preserve national parks!

💥 Monday, April 21 – Pop! Goes the History
2:30 PM at Mission San José Visitor Center Theater
Discover the “pop” of Mission-era weapons and learn what was used in the 1700s.

🐦 Tuesday, April 22 – Nature Songs
10:00 AM at Mission San Juan
Join a ranger for a relaxing Yanaguana Nature Walk and tune in to the sounds of the river and wildlife.

🪨 Wednesday, April 23 – Rock with Limestone
10:00 AM–3:00 PM at Mission Concepción
Touch, explore, and learn about the rock that built the missions!

🔥 Thursday, April 24 – Forge the Beat
10:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Mission San Jose with Alex Ruiz!
10:00 AM–4:00 PM at Mission Espada
Meet a ranger and explore blacksmithing traditions and mission ranch brands — sparks will fly!

🎶💙 Friday, April 25 – Rhythm & Blues of the Acequias
10:00 AM at Mission San Juan Farm Fields
Get into the flow of the historic acequias with a water demo and discover how these irrigation systems shaped mission life.
