Arizona Diaries - Next Stop - The Grand Canyon!

On our way to the Grand Canyon from Sedona we decided to take the scenic route (was about 5 minutes longer - or - so we thought!) Google maps connected to the Rental Car’s “Car Play” had reset itself from our original input! (Blaming spotty reception) Instead of taking us to Grand Canyon Village (my orig input) we ended up @ Grand Canyon’s National Park’s entrance! Of course we only realized this when all of a sudden we noticed our different cellphones were showing two different timezones!!!

On the driver’s side of the car it was 1:39pm and on the passenger side - the time was 2:39pm !! Totally freaked us out as we had a tour booked!! Turned out that the longer route ended up taking us next to a Navajo reservation, which was a different time zone from Arizona’s time zone! Who would have thought this was possible! Thankfully once we got to the GC National Park - we got the hour back!!

Of course the boys & my husband were trying to watch the Man City vs Bayern game when in the middle of the desert! ⚽️🤣⚽️

Entering the Grand Canyon from the National Park we were able to see some amazing views that would not have been visible from the Grand Canyon Village Entrance.

Amazed by the snow! We had heard that Park got over 50 FEET of snow the last few weeks! #
