Neighbors, we need your help and your vigilance!

We have seen an increase in Breaking & Entering (B&E) reports lately. These suspects are becoming bolder—recently, an individual was spotted walking our streets in a mask during the evening hours when many residents were still awake.

To keep our neighborhood safe and discourage this activity, please follow these 4 Essential Safety Steps:

🔒 LOCK Your Vehicles: Do not leave doors unlocked, even for a few minutes. Most thefts are "crimes of opportunity" involving unlocked handles.

💡 LIGHT Up the Night: Keep your porch and exterior lights on from dusk until dawn. Well-lit properties are much less attractive to intruders.

📱 CHECK Your Cameras: If you have a doorbell camera or security system, pay close attention to your alerts. Even if you don't see a crime, suspicious footage can help identify patterns.

👀 STAY Watchful: Keep an eye out for each other. If you see something that doesn't feel right, don't hesitate to report it.

Join us Saturday, April 25th, from 10 AM – 2 PM at the Holly Ridge Police Department for our anonymous Medication Take-Back Event! Grab your old meds and drop them off while you enjoy the Holly Ridge Bee Festival.

📍 Quick Info:
What: Free & Anonymous disposal of pills, patches, and sealed liquids.
Where: Holly Ridge PD (in the heart of the Bee Festival).
Parking: PD parking is restricted due to the festival. Please use designated festival parking and take a short walk to see us!

❌ Not Accepted:
Needles (sharps), inhalers, vapes with batteries, or injectables.
