We’re thrilled to welcome Power Mukisa as Develop for Good’s new full-time Lead Software Engineer! 🎉
Power brings a global background spanning the United States, East Africa, Southeast Asia and South America, with experience building and scaling production systems across fintech, healthcare, and social impact organizations. Power earned his Master’s degree in Development Practice from the University of California, Berkeley, where he studied how technology, policy, economics, and institutional systems shape outcomes in underserved communities. He is committed to building scalable, sustainable technology that expands access and enables long-term impact. Outside of work, he’s an avid piano player and has spent the last decade attempting to master the electric guitar and saxophone.
At Develop for Good, Power will be developing the technical infrastructure we need to scale our programs sustainably, all while supporting our college students as they apply the latest AI tools and approaches to their real-world nonprofit projects 🚀
