Last week we celebrated Fasching/Fastnacht/Karneval in Princeton and Holmdel! 🎉

It was a joyful celebration filled with music, games, dance and delicious food.
One of the highlights was our beautiful „Funkenmariechen-Tanz“ performance.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed food and helped to make this event so special. We couldn’t have done it without you. 🖤❤️💛

Germany is celebrating the "fifth" season - the time after the winter holidays and before the spring kicks in. During these dark days of winter, who doesn't need some fun, food and of course, a parade!

Call it Karneval, Mardi Gras or Fasching, communities throughout central Europe, particularly Mainz, Cologne and Düsseldorf, are known for their festivities that include special parades with sweet treats for children, as well as adults.
