I have carried almost daily for nearly 30 years exclusively in a vertical shoulder holster and it still fascinates me what people imagine will be a "real" tactical experience in daily life. In real life the odds are better than even that your assailant will almost be in touching distance of you when the conflict originate. In real life, there will be only one problem child and out of the starting gate you need to be able to stop him from snatching your gun.
