Reflections from Rickwood:

*1st class event, good job Birmingham and MLB.

*Probably half the crowd was there to celebrate baseball, we talked to people who came from all over the country who just wanted to be a part of it.

*They had a great display telling the story of the Negro League’s impact on our country. It was educational and fascinating.

*Too many celebrities to mention were at the game, showing how important this game was, but probably not as important to the community around the stadium.

*The Vibe the whole night was great. Love for the game and all its players old and current.

*Rickwood looked and felt spectacular.

I hope the City of Birmingham can build on this.

Last night there seemed to be a little more magic in the Magic City…..hopefully to be continued.
