In this episode we meet up with Legends Darrick Doerner and Shaun Tomson at the Hawaii Surf Museum and Center of Radical Education to share stories of what it was like to surf along the North Shore during the 1970s. Special guest in attendance included Barton Lynch, Randy Rarrick, Buzzy Kerbox and Cheyne Horan and Tommy Nellis.

The east side of the island has been pounded for the last few days all the way up until possibly Thursday according to NOAA and the NWS. With that being said we made a few stops to document the surf. Ultimately spotting this uncle having a epic session patiently waiting for the set waves combined with wind to roll through.

Surf along north-facing shores will hold at HSA levels through tonight as a medium-period NNW swell (330) fills in, and a High Surf Advisory is in place for that time frame for the North and west-facing shores of the island of Oahu. Welcome back to a new episode featuring the bumpy faces of Sunset. Local time is 11:53 a.m on November 1st, 2025. A new Swell is currently rolling in across the reef at 6.6ft 14-second intervals out of the NNW at 336 degrees. Winds are currently offshore at 4 knots out of the east northeast, gusting up to 10 knots, with a recent high tide of 1.4ft set at 11:38 am.
