Hi 👋 I’m Kelsey the founder of Motherwit and these are my babies. Reintroducing myself since our IG has gone by the wayside and needs some new energy (that I hope is coming soon).

My grownup job is Co-CEO of but my inner child wanted to pretend to be a kitchen witch and start a cultural postpartum soup company and and I let her. (Who else is permissive re-parenting their inner child?)

I want to reclaim all our women’s ancestral knowledge, feed the highest quality locally sourced soups to all the tired new moms, and feel like a woman who lives and belongs on healthy thriving ʻāina. It’s a work in progress.

I’ve been working on something! The Nourishing Postpartum digital cookbook series co-written with is now available for sale on our website.

Pua and I custom created these resource books for workshops hosted by WIC Waimānalo, but now they are available to you to deep dive into specific postpartum and pregnancy dishes—their cultural roots, their nutritional qualities, and the farmers that grow medicinal grade ingredients that go into them.
