Mahalo to my patron Lucy for commissioning this portrait of her and her daughter 🙏🏽🌺.
On a flight from LA to Chicago, Lucy noticed me working on a portrait and asked if I could do one for her. She had just taken her first post covid vacation with her daughter whom she hadn’t seen in 2 years. They met in Kauai, and explored the island for a week, hiking and eating. Lucy took me through her entire vacation and we landed on this very captive photo of the two do them.
It was a very awesome and serendipitous exchange for sure ✨
