I år är det 30 (trettio!) år sedan vårt första album ”The countless galaxies” släpptes.
Det känns som igår.
Plattan spelades in med minimal utrustning och exceptionellt låg budget i samma byggnad som vi spelar i imorgon.
Är cirkeln sluten eller är det bara starten på ytterligare ett varv?
Vi får se. Om ett varv tog 30 år så är vi runt 80 nästa varv, men fortfarande ”children within”.

Vi ses imorgon!

Thanks Mårten Kellerman for a nice meeting, talking about memories, technology and sounds.

I didn’t remember, but he told me how the album title Sea of life happened. Obviously, in a German mailorder catalogue back in the days there were two entries listed for Children Within and one of them was Sea of life, which at the time didn’t even exist.
So we decided that it was a great title for an album, and that was it.

Anyway, first time we met 1996? was when I was involved in remixing the song Hologram by Statemachine.

Welcome home SX4882, 48 additional line inputs. Although some people dislike products from Behringer, the old board is from 1996 and still going strong, so when offered a newer at a bargain price I could not resist.

The new mixing board is 17 years younger than the previous one. Hopefully it can withstand the next 17 years, and if needed, provide a total of 96 channels. Hmm does this mean I need more synths, or???
