Breaking the cycle starts with awareness. This Su***de Awareness Month, let’s address the impact of intergenerational cycles of violence on mental health. Healing begins when we acknowledge the past and support each other through the journey.

April is S*xual Assault Awareness Month, otherwise known as SAAM. It is a time to focus the attention to the prevalence of s*xual assault and educate communities, individuals and relatives about how to prevent it. SAAM campaigns to honor the voices and experiences of victims and survivors. Chances are someone in your life is a survivor of s*xual harassment, assault, or abuse, even if they have never shared their story with you. There will be many ways to show your support for survivors this month. Be on the look out for various events coming up on April 6th and 14th!
