Congratulations to Mid-Pacific alumna Jacqueline Osumi ’18 on being named First Princess at the ! 🌸

Hosted annually by the Honolulu Japanese Junior Chamber of Commerce, the Cherry Blossom Festival is one of Hawai‘i’s longest-running cultural celebrations, honoring Japanese heritage, community involvement, and leadership among young women.

We are so proud to see our alumni continuing to shine and represent their communities with grace, leadership, and cultural pride, values we strive to instill in every Owl. Way to go, Jacqueline!

Mahalo nui to everyone who supported us this morning in Council Chambers for the Honorary Certificate presentation recognizing Spencer A. ’26 and his friend for their extraordinary lifesaving actions. Their courage, ocean mastery, and spirit of aloha are truly inspiring.

A special shout-out to Councilmembers Radiant Cordero, Scott Nishimoto, and Matt Weyer '06 (not pictured)—proud Mid-Pacific alumni—for helping honor these outstanding young men alongside Council Chair Tommy Waters.
