Today we’re celebrating Ari, our incredible Kapiʻolani Service & Sustainability Environmental Pathway Coordinator and the driving force behind the Biocultural Restoration of The Diamond Head Scenic Byway. Ari’s dedication to our ʻāina and community shines through everything he does—from leading restoration efforts to generously volunteering his time to protect and research native Hawaiian birds and plants.

A true bird enthusiast and environmental leader, Ari’s commitment to conservation inspires students, volunteers, and partners alike. As he prepares to graduate this year and pursue his goal of working with DLNR as a trail specialist, we couldn’t be more proud.
