If you caught HI Now Daily this week, you may have spotted President and CEO, Susan Furuta, and a few of our Santa's Summer Shake-Up instructors having some fun in the studio.

They shared a little about this year's Christmas in July dance-a-thon, what to expect on July 25, and how the event helps support local families through Helping Hands Hawai‘i.

Take a few minutes to watch the segment, then come dance with us!

Composition books. Pencils. Crayons. Filler paper.

They're simple school supplies, but for many families, those costs can add up quickly.

Ready to Learn helps ensure local students have the tools they need on the first day of school, so they can focus on learning, participating, and making the most of the year ahead.

A $50 donation provides one student with a backpack filled with essential school supplies.

Home can mean something different to everyone.

A place, a feeling, a person, a memory, or something else entirely. We’d love to hear what comes to mind when you think of home. 💙

A big mahalo to the team from American Savings Bank for rolling up their sleeves and helping us get ready for another Ready to Learn season.

Volunteers from ASB spent time sorting and preparing school supplies that will soon make their way into the hands of local students. Every backpack packed and every supply sorted helps students start the school year with the tools they need to succeed.

Their volunteer day was part of American Savings Bank’s Community Day sponsorship benefit as a Bronze Sponsor of Ready to Learn, and we are grateful for their continued support of local students and families.

Mahalo, American Savings Bank, for spending the day with us and helping make a difference in our community.
