Today we celebrate not just an incredible man, but a true American hero and one of the last living survivors of Iwo Jima.
Don, your strength, faith, and deep love for this country have touched more people than you may ever realize. You’ve made an impact simply by being exactly who you are…kind, genuine, funny, and full of joy!

During World War II, Delmar Beard served in the U.S. Navy and shares his story about helping deliver the 5th Marine Division to Green Beach during the Battle of Iwo Jima. He was part of the first wave and continued to serve there, supporting ground troops throughout the battle.
This year, in partnership with , we had the honor of returning Delmar to Iwo Jima for the 81st anniversary.
To stand with him on that ground again is something we’ll never forget. 🇺🇸
