Awayuki Kyuri “Cucumber” | New Limited Edition Gin 🥒🍸

We take a short break from our Kubota Sake Tasting Announcements (with more to come📣😉) to tell you about a new gin that just came to Hawaii!

(Yes, Cucumber Gin is now a thing😆)

You might remember the Awayuki Gin brand for their Strawberry Gin that’s made with high end Japanese pink and red strawberries, juniper, angelica, and coriander.

Similar to that, this キュウリ (Kyuri) or Cucumber Gin uses the same botanical base but then infuses hand picked cucumbers to make a bright, crisp, clean, and aromatic gin with a smooth finish!

It’s 100% grain base and has a subtle sweetness compared to its strawberry counterpart, but still slight floral and herbal notes. They recommend it in a Mule or Gimlet!🍸

It’s sounds like a fun gin to try for the summer time, so we decided to give it a try for this week’s Aloha Friday Tasting!
