Papa WADPI (Rtd. Cmdr. Leroy Harris) briefing the Guinea and Sierra Leone participants on the IT Bootcamp software platforms (Ushahidi & Sahana) as Free and Open System Softwares (FOSS) for reporting incidents (Crowd-sourcing) in the form of reports and locating available resources on maps respectively for easy disaster management. He also mentioned the use of QGIS for creating customized country geographical maps as layers to assist in the other platforms especially Ushahidi.
