HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY! 🤍

I was raised by a single teenaged mom who worked tirelessly to provide & build a future for me all on her own. I was there when she graduated high school & there when she graduated college. I’ve been there with her through her highest & lowest times in her life & she has always been there for mine. She never complained about her circumstances & just somehow always managed to make things work out. And after years of being a mom myself, I still don’t know how she did it. My mom is truly the strongest person I know. She overcame so many obstacles life threw at her & managed to prove everyone wrong while working with integrity & not having to step on anyone. She’s such a bad ass! I seen firsthand what honest hard work is. She is who I got my work ethic from & she’s everything I hope to be. Being a mom is truly such a crazy rollercoaster of emotions & responsibility. But most of all it is the biggest blessing & I am forever thankful I get to experience motherhood. So here’s to all the moms; I see you doing the damn thing for your babies. Remember to give yourself the love you relentlessly give to others; you deserve it all 💐

We’re getting back to the heart of it all. For me, Defend Mommy was always something much more than just another brand. It has purpose, drive, & so much love behind it. It is a movement.

Over the years, I was able to meet & connect with so many moms throughout the country & even other parts of the world. Moms that shared their experiences, struggles, & joys of motherhood. They expressed their love for Defend Mommy & what it meant for them. That’s when I knew that other moms could see our vision too & that we had something really special. We wanted to showcase our purpose while bringing our style into each design.

I loved everything about the brand. I loved creating products. I loved doing events and being able to meet everyone. I loved seeing so many of you wearing the clothing we put our heart into creating. I loved our photo shoots & video shoots with our squad throughout the years. But most of all, I loved the unity this brand brought through motherhood.

As moms, we often feel the need to be able to do it all. Always putting everyone else first, even if it meant putting ourselves last & sacrificing our needs. That mom guilt is so real. After working so hard on growing the brand, life happened & unfortunately I had to take a break & step away from it all.

During that time, Defend Mommy would always come up in some way. I’d randomly see someone wearing our gear. Or people would contact me - “We miss Defend Mommy..” “We love your brand, it meant a lot to us..” “Will you be having more photoshoots? We always had so much fun” - Each time pulling on my heartstrings, telling me to bring it back.

Looking back at our mission statement & everything we were able to accomplish, I knew I needed to return. You all are the reason behind the brand. The reason why Defend Mommy even exists. It has a purpose that’s so much bigger than me & for that I’m so thankful. Thank you to everyone who has supported, shown their love, shared their experiences, and that has been rooting for us to come back. You’ve been so patient & I truly can’t thank you enough. We missed you all so much! ❤️
