Annual meat bird freezer camp day!!
We were able to process our meat birds between rain storms today. It was actually the perfect day for it! We ended up doing most of the work in the garage to avoid the wind and sprinkles.
It was a family affair - three generations working together. My dad has been an awesome teacher!
Even the wee one pitched in! She was so brave to want to be involved ❤️
Em raised these birds and takes pride in being involved.
We processed 11 birds and every year we get more efficient. Raising meat birds has one heck of a learning curve, but I think we're getting the hang of it.
