Hempstead County 4-H

This week begins our WEEKLY WEDNESDAY WORKSHOPS! Our first workshop is a tour of Mr. Lloyd Bright's giant watermelon farm. We will meet at the Extension Office at 9am and travel to his farm. If time allows, additional watermelon activities are planned for when we return to the office.

These workshops are for Hempstead County 4-Hers ages 5-19. Youth ages 5-8 must be accompanied by an adult.

Now that school is out and summer is almost here, it's time for Weekly Wednesday Workshops! Starting June 24th, we will have weekly activities for 4-H youth ages 5-19 on Wednesday mornings from 9am - 12pm. (Youth ages 5-8 must be accompanied by an adult.)

Each week will be another fun activity!
June 24 - Tour a giant watermelon farm
July 1 - Tour a honey making farm
July 8 - Decorate cookies at SWREC
July 15 - Resin art at SWREC
