🫣🥴🙃 yep, not breastfeeding our third and final baby. But, over all 3 kids, I've breastfed for a total of 3 years, and I'm okay with that❤️

For me, it all came down to the fact that, for my body personally, breastfeeding hormones LARGELY impacted me, and it made life difficult in many ways. Once my milk was gone, I felt immense clarity that I hadn't felt in years. I had to choose between the stress of trying to get my milk back, or having improved mental health and cognitive ability. For the sake of my mental health & the overall wellness of my family, I chose to allow my breastfeeding journey to end.

If I learned anything from this experience that I can share, it's that breastfeeding hormones can SERIOUSLY impact the brain. Women will experience it on different levels, but the effects are very very real. I knew that this was a real thing, but I didn't realize just HOW big it was, until I experienced it firsthand.

If you ever feel internally out of control, overly forgetful, or are experiencing difficulty communicating, don't worry, ✨️IT'S TEMPORARY.✨️ I promise you are not going crazy.

Studies show that pregnancy and breastfeeding *literally* changes a woman's brain chemistry. Areas most impacted are memory, relationship building (also including intimate relationships/sex drive), and communication. The effects can be felt up to 2 years postpartum. However, newer research suggests it could be even longer.

After your milk dries up, you may experience your first little bout of clarity as your hormones begin to regulate. Be patient with yourself during this time. Your brain is healing, and while you may feel world's better all of a sudden, your hormones will still be fluctuating for some time.

& here's my FAVORITE article to share about how pregnancy restructures a woman's brain🫶

The DryMe line currently consists of 3 products, and they continue to surprise me!

❤️ Lactation Reduction Tea
❤️ Topical Oil
❤️ Herbal Oral Tincture

They're strong enough that, if used frequently, they can quickly dry up oversupplies with zero engorgement. Or, use them less often for a slower dry up process!

I even have a friend who recently gave birth and chose adoption, and she's used all three in order to slow the rate and volume at which her milk came in.

All 3 products have Chasteberry (commonly known as Vitex) as the main ingredient, among others, respectively. Vitex has been shown in studies to reduce prolactin levels, even though some information says that vitex "may" increase milk production.

You can find all 3 items separately, or combined in "Fast Dry" and "Slow Dry" kits under the "LACTATION DECREASE" section of my website!

A brilliant mind suggested this😉 Kelsey Kivett 💖😘🤌

I did a hot brew of one Lac•Tea teabag (and then forgot about it so that it turned cold🙃) and mixed in the lemonade!

For taste testing our purposes I did both levels 3 and 4 of Lac•Tea, and tried each of them with levels 1 and 2, each, of the lemonade. All combos tasted good! The level 4 could use a little extra sugar, maybe.

BUT ... being that levels 3 and 4 of Lac•Tea tasted good ... that means that levels 1 and 2 of Lac•Tea mixed with the new lemonade would be DELICIOUS🤤 (because levels 3 and 4 are pretty bitter on their own, whereas levels 1 and 2 are not) I would maybe suggest adding a bit more than just 1 cup of water...as the overall flavor was a bit saturated.

✨️Plus add ice for an extra refreshing summer lactation booster✨️

And remember! Each level doubles in strength! So if you want to try this and you're a level 3....you could actually buy LVL 2 Lac•Tea plus LVL 2 Lemonade, and that would equal one dose of LVL 3! Respectively, if you're at LVL 2, you could use LVL 1 Lac•Tea plus LVL 1 Lemonade, and that would equal one dose of LVL 2!

🍋🍓LACTATION LEMONADE IS NOW AVAILABLE!🍓🍋

Just go on my website and it's pinned to the top of the homepage🥰

www.MamaAndMe.us

➡️Serving & Price Info...

NO GOAT’S RUE ADDED : $14.50 (about 12 servings)
LVL 1 : $16 (about 13 servings)
LVL 2 : $18 (about 14 servings)

✨️After many attempts, I'm only able to offer lemonade in levels 1 and 2.

Levels 3 and 4 were just too bitter, even with some added sugar. I even went as far to try this powder called "bitter-bloc" that I had on hand, (the ingredient is used in pharmaceutical medicine) but it didn't help much at all😓

If you need either level 3 or 4 and would like to try the lemonade, you can either do a level 1, which will just be a very very light addition to what you’re already doing, or I have it available without the Goat’s Rue added🙂
