LYRICAL POWER powered by Soc13ty 101 (Dominique Pierre-Toussaint) Supported by the City of Hopkins “Building Safer Communities” Micro Grant Program Monday, October 6, 2025 6:30 PM | Free | Hopkins Center for the Arts The Washburn Center for Children, in partnership with @stagestheatreco - Stages Theatre Company, presented ENOUGH! Plays to End Gun Violence @enoughplaysproject —featuring six powerful teen-written shorts selected from 127 national submissions. Youth artists described their work as raw, honest, and empowering. Recommended for ages 14+. 🎶 Closing Performance: “Crying For Protection!” Written and performed by Sofia Anderson-Barrera @sofal._.0 (Lyrical Power performer) Sofia is a new addition to the Soc13ty 101 LYRICAL POWER initiative, and her piece “Crying For Protection” brought a moving, emotional close to an evening centered on truth, courage, and youth voices. A clip of Sofia performing as part of the ENOUGH movement is featured PRESS PLAY. Soc13ty 101 extends a heartfelt thank you to Stages Theatre Company for inviting Lyrical Power to be part of ENOUGH! We look forward to growing this new partnership and creating more opportunities for young innovators to express, heal, and empower through the arts.
