MLS Senior Spotlight: Ben A.

Ben is a graduating senior whose passion for caring for others, both on and off campus, truly stands out! As a pre-vet student, his compassion and dedication shine through in everything he does. He’s involved in many activities and consistently puts in the hard work to succeed. Ben’s easy going personality (even if he’s not always right on time 😄) makes him such a fun and valued part of our program. We know he is going to make an incredible veterinarian and we can’t wait to see all the lives, animal and human, that he impacts along the way! 🐾

Why did you choose MLS? I chose MLS because I thought it was a very practical major with multiple different options that could land me a job/education after graduation.

What is something interesting you are currently working on (on or off campus)? I am currently planning a summer job in Alaska this year!
Clubs, organizations, or activities you are involved in: Mushing Club at Michigan Tech, Saint Al’s, Log Rolling Club
Career goals or plans after graduation: I am attending Veterinary School at Michigan State University starting this Fall!
Hobbies or interests outside of academics: Mushing, Hiking, Camping, Backpacking, Exploring
