FRIDAY OCTOBER 16th

JACKSON: 48, WASHINGTON CH: 7

Jackson took advantage of 4 Blue Lions turnovers & open up a 35-0 halftime lead.
Tate Rosler had 4 TD runs, younger brother Nash added another & recover 3 Blue Lions fumbles.

Dayton Kallner picked off a Blue Lions pass.

Sam Pfeifer hit J’vion Gatewood on a 48 yard pass in the second half for Washington only TD in the game.

Donovan Teachey recorded 2 fumble recoveries & had a big sack in the contest.

MIAMI TRACE: 56, McCLAIN: 8

Julian Baker scored 4 touchdowns (2 rushing & 2 receptions) as the Miami Trace Panthers recorded their 7th straight victory of the season.

Baron Phipps threw TDs to Baker & twice to Evan Parsley on a 4 of 5 passing performance.

McClains only score came midway in the 1st quarter on a 23 yard TD pass to Leiland Bond & then a 2 point conversation between the pair to pull McClain to within 14-8 at 1 time.

CHILLICOTHE: 55, HILLSBORO: 15

Cartae Ligon scored 5 TDs on a 270 rushing yards performance as the Cavaliers scored 28 points off of Hillsboro’s 4 first half turnovers.

Hillsboro’s Collin Swackhammer hit Tre Captain on a 21 yard TD pass & later in the 4th period the Indians scored on an 8 yard run by Jay’onte Walters and a 2 point pass after TD conversation to Cohen Skeens.

What Does “Earned Income” Really Mean?

We've talked a lot about the 1% earned income tax, but what exactly counts as earned income?

Not all income is treated the same. Earned income generally includes wages, salaries, tips, and self-employment income. It generally does not include Social Security, pensions, interest, or dividends.

That means being retired doesn't automatically determine whether someone pays the tax. A retiree whose only income is Social Security, a pension, or other qualifying retirement income may have no income subject to the tax. A retiree who continues to work may have wages that are.
