My newest painting is of my beauty, this French Mallow or Malva Sylvestris. I grew it first in Island Park, New York and it would re-seed itself every year and come back after the winter die off. Charles wanted this one so, I framed it for him. Prints are available as well as 4x6 greeting cards!

Ray, spilling the beans!

I've been super busy this summer so far with my grandson graduating high school and heading to the Navy and my garden is in full swing. My brushes and paintbox are feeling a little neglected but I did zone out into watercolor bliss with this beautiful cactus painting I did, which was so kindly shared with me by my beautiful friend Judith Dryden Breidenbach who shares the photographs of her flowering cactus with me as inspiration. I have some great ideas for this one, so look for it soon in my shop.
