Fortress Engineering Ltd. is excited to be ramping up efforts on a large Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls (EIC) Engineering scope for a unique and exciting Distributed Control System (DCS) Migration project, spanning three large petrochemical complexes and port facilities in Texas and Louisiana.

The project is a multisite initiative to migrate existing asset monitoring, process control, and safety instrumented functions (SIS) to a new DCS and SIS, while accommodating system obsolescence concerns, and complying with the client standards. The project will span multiple years and include a team comprised of international representation and expertise in terminal automation and DCS migrations.

Duane Svenson, C.Tech, FSE and the Fortress design team recently completed a site trip to Texas and Louisiana to kick off the project scope, tour the facilities, and perform the internal project initiation.

Duane Svenson, C.Tech, FSE brings many years of experience in complex project ex*****on and will steer the efforts as the Fortress Engineering Ltd. Project Manager.
